Overnight Oats

Are you looking for a simple and delicious breakfast recipe that will leave you feeling satisfied and energized all morning long? Look no further than this easy overnight oats recipe! Made with just a handful of wholesome ingredients, perfectly measured out, thanks to PantryChic!

To make this recipe, simply mix together the oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and maple syrup in a jar or container. Then, add in your favorite milk (dairy or non-dairy) and stir until well combined. Cover the container and place it in the fridge overnight, allowing the oats to soak up the liquid and create a creamy, delicious texture.

In the morning, simply give the oats a stir and add any toppings you like. Fresh berries, sliced banana, chopped nuts, and a drizzle of honey are all great options. Not only is this recipe quick and easy to prepare, but it's also incredibly versatile. Feel free to experiment with different spices, sweeteners, and add-ins to create a breakfast that's tailored to your unique tastes and preferences.

But perhaps the best part of this recipe is how nutritious it is. Oats are packed with fiber and protein, while chia seeds are a great source of healthy fats and antioxidants. Cinnamon adds a delicious flavor while also providing a range of health benefits, including helping to regulate blood sugar levels. And maple syrup, while sweet, is a natural and unrefined sweetener that provides a subtle caramel flavor.

So why not give this overnight oats recipe a try and see for yourself why it's become a breakfast favorite? With just a few simple ingredients and the help of PantryChic you can create a delicious and nutritious breakfast that will keep you fueled and satisfied all morning long.

SmartCanister Lineup

SmartCanisters storing rolled oats, chia seeds, ground cinnamon, and salt

This recipe is made easiest if you are using PantryChic SmartCanisters to store rolled oats, ground cinnamon, salt, and chia seeds.

Chia seeds should be assigned as “other” and measured by weight.

If you are not already storing all of these ingredients in their own SmartCanister, you can always use the PantryChic’s scale function to manually add an ingredient.

Start with the Oats

The PantryChic dispensing old-fashioned rolled oats

Place a wide-mouthed jar, food storage container, or bowl on the PantryChic scale and dispense the oats.

The best oats to use are old-fashioned rolled oats, not “quick-cooking” or “instant”.

Add the Chia Seeds

On top of the oats, dispense the chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt.

Currently, chia seeds are a custom ingredient that you will need to assign to “other” to be measured out by weight. You will need 24g for this recipe.

Stir in the Liquid Ingredients

Stirring milk and maple syrup into the overnight oats

Stir in the milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Cover the jar or container and refrigerate overnight (or at least 6 hours) to enjoy your oats for breakfast the next morning!
