Setting yourself up for success with Recipe Prep

Are you ready to get your bake on for the holidays? When it comes to the "Baking Superbowl" time of year, here are some tips to assure those yummy recipes are a success:

Tip 1: Lists are your friend

This time of year is so hectic! Whether you're managing kids, a job, your house,   add on all things in between, your time in limited. It is always helpful to make lists on upcoming holiday parties, planned gifts, etc. to determine what you plan on baking/gifting for each event.

This is your sanity!

Tip 2: Select your recipes

Once you know which events are coming up, choose your recipes accordingly.

Read through each recipe to determine materials needed prior to running out to the store. Consider the ingredients need, but also the bowls, measuring tools, pans, sheets, parchment paper, cookie cutters, piping bags, cupcake liners, gift packaging, and the list goes on!

Tip 3: Take inventory of your Pantry (& refrigerator)

Just like you would during Spring cleaning, clean out all your expired ingredients and take notes of what ingredients you will need to replenish, considering those selected recipes as top priority.

*If you're planning on baking some fall favorites, be sure you have ample pumpkin spices (some of the go-to's: ground cloves, ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon!)

Once you gather everything, you will be set up for success to perfect those Holiday recipes!
